This workshop provides some practical means for supervisors and graduate students to talk about and edit their own writing and that of others. Using authentic graduate writing material, participants will first be introduced to and practice: (a) a simple heuristic for talking about and evaluating any genre of academic writing on a global level; (b) some practical vocabulary for talking about writing on the paragraph and sentence level.
