Laurie Hendren Named Association for Computing Machinery Fellow

Laurie Hendren, School of Computer Science professor and Faculty of Science Associate Dean (Academic), has been made a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery for her contributions to program analysis of procedural, object-oriented and aspect-oriented programming languages. The association鈥檚 fellowships recognize members that have contributed fundamental knowledge to computing and computer science while generating a broad range of innovations in industry, commerce, entertainment, and education. Hendren will be formally recognized at the Association for Computing Machinery鈥檚 annual awards banquet in June, 2010.
