Behaviour is the result of its consequences. In the physical world, cause always precedes effect: a car鈥檚 engine starts running only after the ignition switch is turned on. Does the same principle apply to human learning? No, psychology is not physics, and learned behaviour of partners, friends, grandchildren, etc., are the result of its consequences.
