This week, two new documents that draw on expertise from 不良研究所 were made available:听听补苍诲听. These documents complement each other, acknowledging the difficulties of the past year and encouraging student wellness from different perspectives. You can refer to them through the semester to help manage stress and provide feedback to instructors about what works well in your courses.
Speaking of instructors and feedback, the first week of February is Teacher Appreciation Week in Quebec; an opportunity to reflect on the indispensable role teachers play in our society and to appreciate those who have positively impacted us. Who were your favourite Professors over the past year, and why? Did they rise to the challenge of remote instruction and find ways to make learning easier? Were they understanding and supportive as you navigated tough course material or personal challenges? Maybe their unique teaching style or sense of humour brought some much-needed levity into your days?
If an outstanding Prof comes to mind, here鈥檚 an opportunity to thank them.听Visit the听听web page to recognize an exceptional instructor and explain why they've earned your acclaim.听The Professor will receive a note of thanks with your comments (though you鈥檒l remain anonymous!), and a full list of thanked Profs will be posted on the website. There鈥檚 no limit to the ways positivity and gratitude can reverberate when they鈥檙e shared. I hope you鈥檒l take a moment to brighten an instructor鈥檚 day and let them know their work is appreciated.
