It’s a new year, a new term, and it’s WINTER! Welcome back - I hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing break, and are ready for our ongoing adventures here at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù. If you are new to Montreal, don’t be scared of the chilly days of January – this city is one of the best when it comes to embracing the winter. In fact, getting outside this time of year is a terrific way to get through the cold months, and here are five ideas for you: 1) Dance at – suit up and hit the outdoor dancefloor – funky toque required. 2) Be amazed at – a short walk from ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù will allow you to experience a very cool interactive art installation. 3) Lace up those skates: Montreal has SO many – (including on lower campus) grab some skates and slide around (Safety First: wear a helmet). 4) Go to the mountain! Mount Royal has a to enjoy – and it’s so close by. 5) Walk in a winter wonderland: a stroll at the Morgan Arboretum is always worthwhile, and it is especially beautiful when draped in snow. Before your coursework gets too heavy, enjoy the outdoors – Canada is great, in part because of its awesome winter. Study hard, stay well, and find your mittens.
