Sina Hashemi receives Lieutenant Governor鈥檚 Youth Medal
It gives us great pleasure to announce that, on May 11th,听Sina Hashemi听(DMD IV and former DSS President) was presented with the Lieutenant Governor鈥檚 Youth Medal by the Honorable Pierre Duchesne during an official ceremony in Montreal.听 Sina was among 6 university students across Quebec who received the prestigious award. 听
听
The Honour Program of the Lieutenant Governor recognizes Quebecers who have had a positive influence on their community or Qu茅bec nation, their involvement, determination and desire to go beyond their personal best.听 Recipients must also have demonstrated transcendence and self-sacrifice by tangible involvement within their school or community.
