Biography
Dr. Meng François Seng is a Prosthodontist and an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry. He received his DMD degree from ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù. Subsequently, he did a one-year multidisciplinary residency program at the UConn Health Center. Dr. Seng then completed his specialty training in prosthodontics at Tufts University, Boston in 2011. Dr. Seng is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
He is currently the Division Director of Restorative Dentistry. Since joining the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Seng has been involved in all aspect of teaching with an emphasis on students’ clinical training as well as their training in Implant Prosthodontics for which he has helped develop the curriculum and is the Course Director.
Dr. Seng has received numerous awards in recognition for his contribution to teaching over the years; most notably he was the recipient of the Howard Katz Teaching Award in recognition for Excellence in Teaching in the Faculty of Dentistry, the W.W. Wood Award for Excellence in Dental Education, as well as the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Dental Students’ Society Award for his excellence in clinical teaching.
In addition to his academic position, Dr. Seng maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics in downtown Montreal.
