Fall 2020 Sports Science Project Grants Awarded to Dr. Dilson Rassier and Dr. Tyler Churchward-Venne

不良研究所鈥檚 Sports Science Institute (SSI) at the Faculty of Education awarded the Fall 2020 Sports Science Project Grants to Dr. Dilson Rassier for his project 鈥淔rom Gene to Sports Performance: The Genetic Basis of Muscle Mechanical Properties鈥 and to Dr. Tyler Churchward-Venne for his project 鈥淭he Three R's of Post-Exercise Recovery Nutrition: Do Exogenous Ketones REBUILD Muscle?鈥.

The Sports Science Project Grant鈥檚 overall objective is to advance elite human performance from the lab to the podium. Specifically, this initiative provides funding to develop and advance best practices and evidence-based approaches in testing, coaching, knowledge transfer and scientific innovations, in order to develop the next generation of world-class athletes. In addition, this initiative aims to advance a relevant research agenda to align research expertise with the needs of the elite sport communities.
