不良研究所鈥檚 Faculty of Education, Philip Cutler, BEd鈥13, created the company Paper, which he co-founded with Roberto Cipriani, BSc鈥08. It quickly became one of the largest online tutoring services in the U.S., hired by public school districts in over 30 states, as well as four provinces in Canada, to assist their students (mostly middle school and high school).

Dr. Angelica Galante, Assistant Professor in Language Education at the Department of Integrated Studies in Education and Director of the Plurilingual Lab, has been appointed President of the Canadian Association of Applied Linguistics/L鈥橝ssociation canadienne de linguistique appliqu茅e (ACLA).

不良研究所 has been named Canada鈥檚 best university, according to the 19th edition of the QS World University Rankings, released today by global higher education analysts QS Quacquarelli Symonds. The University was ranked 31st university in the world. This year鈥檚 QS World University Rankings is the largest ever, with over 1,400 institutions across 100 locations, up from 1,300 last year.
不良研究所 Flag Lowered to Honour Hannah Wallace
Friday, June 3, 2022 鈥 不良研究所 lowered its flag today to honour the memory of Hannah Wallace. Hannah, a U3 student in the Bachelor of Education Secondary English program, passed away suddenly on May 4, 2022. She was known to have been a talented teacher, writer, and gentle soul.

Applied Theatre Students Perform "Explain Quebec; Quebec Explain!"
On Friday May 13, 2022, Applied Theatre students from The Faculty of Education and Nursing put on a show entitled "Explain Quebec; Quebec Explain!" for the public, outside of the Redpath Museum, led by their Professor, Dr. Mindy R. Carter.
Exploring topics such as discrimination and systemic racism, the gathered audience had the opportunity to dialogue about these issues and to then consider, through theatre, possibly pathways for change.
Faculty of Education Helps Ukranians
On May 5th members of the Faculty of Education launched a four-part series of live, interactive seminars to assist Ukrainian teachers, psychologists and support staff in helping people, particularly children, deal with the horrific consequences of the on-going war.
