Current research:
My research program concerns the metabolic health of women of reproductive age. Specifically, we employ clinical and genetic epidemiology approaches to investigate risk factors for and heterogeneity in the clinical phenotype of polycystic ovary syndrome and gestational diabetes, with an aim toward developing interventions for prevention and treatment.
Projects:
- The protective role of physical activity in the risk of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- The diagnostic threshold for gestational diabetes: Should it be lowered?
- Physical activity in pregnant women with diabetes.
