On November 23, several members of the Department of Family Medicine gathered at Thomson House to participate in the event titled 鈥淗ow do we handle disinformation agents in public health?鈥, organized by the School of Population and Global Health. The event focused on the growing misinformation and disinformation within the realm of global public health and what we can do better to address these challenges. Prof. Timothy Caulfield, Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy, presented a keynote speech which was followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Tim Evans, Prof. Madhu Pai, Dr. Ananya Banerjee and Dr. Annick Gauthier.
