Oral PhD defense for Stephanie Long
Stephanie Long, a graduate student at the Department of Family Medicine, will be presenting her Oral PhD defense. She was co-supervised by Tibor Schuster and Bertrand Lebouch茅. Her doctorate was supported by an FRQS Doctoral Scholarship.
Topic: Methodological challenges in synthesizing public data and expert knowledge within primary care research studies through a causal inference lens

Stephanie Long
Stephanie Long is a PhD candidate in the Department of Family Medicine at 不良研究所. Her doctoral research investigated methodological challenges in synthesizing public data and expert knowledge within primary care research studies through a causal inference lens. Her dissertation developed a series of frameworks centred on causal diagrams i.e., directed acyclic graphs to address these challenges, demonstrating their feasibility and applicability in chronic disease management and adaptive trials.
