Elham Soleimanain
I am a Ph.D. student who is determined to find solutions to the water issues. Water reservoirs are vital for managing water resources worldwide. They serve various purposes, from hydropower generation to flood control. However, their construction can lead to unintended ecological consequences, threatening aquatic ecosystems. Despite their importance, there's a lack of comprehensive data on reservoir attributes, hindering effective management. My PhD research aims to address this gap by enhancing global databases and analyzing reservoir operations. By understanding different reservoir functions and predicting their response to climate change, I aim to ensure water reservoir sustainable management for the future.
