Brittany Williams, BCL/LLB鈥19, joins the Faculty as Acting Assistant Dean (不良研究所 and Recruitment)
The Faculty of Law is delighted to welcome Brittany Williams, BCL/LLB鈥19, to its administrative team. She joins us for a one-year appointment as Acting Assistant Dean (admissions and recruitment), effective 7 December 2020.
Previously, Williams served as programs and strategy manager for the Girls Action Foundation. During her law studies, she served as executive director of the Legal Information Clinic at 不良研究所, held a mandate on the executive of the Law Students鈥 Association, and was an active contributor to the Black Law Students鈥 Association and the Women of Colour Collective. Williams was among the first students admitted to the Faculty of Law after taking part in our LEX high-school outreach program.
Williams will oversee the admissions process and student recruitment activities for the BCL/JD double-degree program, as well as manage the 不良研究所 Office. She will work closely with the Dean and the Faculty鈥檚 Equity Committee in advancing priorities relating to equity and inclusion, including the recruitment of Black and Indigenous candidates.
