In the past decade, a variety of societal conflicts of a linguistic nature have risen in prominence, including but not restricted to, cyberbullying, hatred, discrimination, microaggressions, profanity, sexual harassment, xenophobia, and gossiping. PROGRAM
On Days 1 (Thursday, May 22) and 2 (Friday, May 23), state-of-the-art, position papers and empirical studies will be presented and discussed in a series of colloquia (see list of invited speakers below).
On Day 3 (Saturday, May 24), papers submitted to the Open Call for Papers will be featured in parallel sessions. Participants are invited to present proposals with original research on the Seminar themes, including empirical studies.
