A series of conferences on neurocognitive disorders presented by AVC-Aphasie Laval and 不良研究所

AVC-Aphasie Laval聽is proud to announce a partnership with the聽Dementia Education Program聽of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at 不良研究所. This collaboration aims to offer a series of free conferences on neurocognitive disorders.

These 45-minute lectures will be followed by a 15-minute question period. They are intended for both members of AVC-Aphasie Laval and the community. Offered in hybrid mode, it will be possible to attend via Zoom or to reserve a place on the organization's premises.

Please note that the conferences will be presented in English in the morning and in French in the afternoon.

Mrs. Claire Webster will share practical advice on how to care for a person living with dementia. She will discuss important considerations to ensure the safety and well-being of both the individual as well as the care partner to help families understand and access the resources needed to navigate this disease.

Mrs. Claire Webster is a Certified Dementia Care Consultant (PAC), Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA), as well as a conference speaker and educator in the field of caring for an individual with dementia. She is Founder and President of Caregiver Crosswalk Inc., a consulting firm that provides education and support services to help individuals navigate the journey of Alzheimer鈥檚 disease and/or dementia-related illnesses. Claire works in collaboration with 不良研究所鈥檚 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Division of Geriatric Medicine. She is the Founder and Ambassador of the 不良研究所 Dementia Education Program and 不良研究所 Cares, a webcast series designed to support family care partners. Claire is one of the 不良研究所 senior co-editors of the World Alzheimer Report 2021 - Journey through the diagnosis of dementia, and the World Alzheimer Report 2022 - Post-diagnostic management and support: a prescription of care.
