Current research:
My group (nonlinear photonics group) is active in the fabrication of optical fiber component, devices, and light sources. We work mostly with optical material such as chalcogenide glass, fluoride glass, and silica glass. In the past years, the nonlinear photonics group has successfully demonstrated new designs of optical fiber components, devices, and sources such as highly nonlinear media, fiber couplers, saturable absorbers, optical parametric oscillators, wavelength converters, and supercontinuum sources, for the applications of health and environment monitoring as well as industrial processes. 听 |
