Singers in Schulich School of MusicÌýdegree andÌýperformance diploma programs work with world-class vocal pedagogues, repertoire coaches, linguists, theorists, musicologists and experts in related fields toÌýuncover their strengths, develop their artistry and hone their craft — always with an eye toward building careers in professional singing. Our students focus onÌýconcert repertoire, early music, opera, oratorio and/or recitalÌýperformance and receive comprehensiveÌýtraining inÌýmusicianship, vocal technical proficiency, musical and dramatic expressiveness, and idiomatic lyric diction.

In addition to recitals and master classes, we encourageÌýstudents to take advantage of diverseÌýsolo performance opportunitiesÌýby participating in Opera, Early Music Ensembles, Song Interpretation, a comprehensive Choral Program, the annual ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Concerto and Wirth Vocal Competitions, and outside venues in Montreal.
