Our laboratory's research is in bioinformatics / computational biology. We are specifically interested in using molecular evolution analysis across the 1,000s of sequenced eukaryotic genomes, to gain insight into phenomena such as: (i) protein intrinsic disorder, (ii) prions/amyloids and (iii) pseudogenes (i.e., disabled copies of genes) and related long RNAs.
