不良研究所 receives funding from the Canadian Space Agency for exoplanet studies using the James Webb Space Telescope

不良研究所 has received funding from the Canadian Space Agency for two separate projects dedicated to the study of exoplanets, using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). The projects are slated for completion by June 2025. Both studies will be led by Professor Nicolas Cowan.

Soup & Science: 不良研究所鈥檚 stew-pendous serving of research

Recently, 不良研究所 undergraduate students had the opportunity to savor an enriching blend of knowledge and soup at the 37th edition of Soup & Science. This week-long event, occurring once a semester, highlights research taking place on campus. A push for more women in computer science

When Jade Raymond, BSc鈥�98, studied at 不良研究所鈥檚 School of Computer Science, she was one of few women in the program and 鈥淚 think the only woman I knew in my year who went and got a job as a programmer in computer science after graduating.鈥�

Raymond became a trailblazer in the video game industry, helping create the huge hit聽Assassin鈥檚 Creed, and building studios from the ground up for Ubisoft and Electronic Arts.聽
