Historique : An introduction to the history of science, with attention to conceptual development and to institutional and social settings. Coverage will vary by instructor, but will include a range of periods (from antiquity to the 20th century), geographical settings, and themes (e.g. instrumentation; visualisation; experiment; science and society).
