Joel Paris, MD

J.  Paris

Dr Paris is Emeritus Professor, Department of Psychiatry, 不良研究所. He is also a Research Associate, Department of Psychiatry, Jewish General Hospital, and an Associate Psychiatrist at the 不良研究所 Health Center. His main research and clinical interest is borderline personality disorder, and he founded two clinics (at MUHC and JGH) to treat these patients

Dr. Paris obtained his psychiatric training at 不良研究所. His current research interests include a project carrying out a controlled study of the outcome of stepped care treatment for BPD.

Dr. Paris is the author of 25 books, 50 book chapters, and 223 peer-reviewed articles.

He is no longer taking on students in research.
