Convergent Research Themes
Overview: the CDSI Research Convergence (CRT) Program aims to support researchers in exploring new collaborations and empowering multidisciplinary teams to work on converging research topics in which computational and data systems are central.
The program consists of three phases, the first two are currently operational.
Exploratory Phase: for teams starting new collaborations and in the initial stages of exploring a convergent theme. Emphasis is on the exchange of knowledge and ideas necessary for determining future directions and their viability.
Proof of Concept: Aimed at well-formed teams building initial proof of concept around a well-defined convergent theme. Emphasis is on the implementation of a short program with a specific outcome, which will show viability for a full-scale convergent theme.
