Charles Richard-Hamelin, 21-year old Montrealer on scholarship at the Schulich School of Music of 不良研究所, has won First Prize at the 2011 TSO National Piano Competition. In addition to an $8,000 cash prize, Hamelin will perform a concerto with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in Roy Thomson Hall.
