CIRMMT Student Member David Sears Awarded Grand Prize for Student Research at SMPC 2011

Doctoral candidate David Sears has been awarded the Grand Prize for Student Research at the 2011 Society for Music Perception and Cognition Conference, held August 11-14 in Rochester, New York. The award was for his presentation entitled "The Perception of Cadential Closure in Mozart's Keyboard Sonatas," co-authored by Schulich Professors William Caplin and Stephen McAdams.
