Rashaan Allwood, a student of Professor听Hans-Ola Ericsson,听was awarded second prize at the听Wadden International Organ Competition in Denmark this past weekend. 听HIs award of听75.000 Danish Krona is approximately $14,000 Canadian. 听鈥淚 am indeed very proud of 听Rashaan whose听shows exceptional hard work,talent, and determination," said Prof. Ericsson. 听"The organ听program at Schulich听provides talented organists and church musicians听with an opportunity to hone their artistry and skills." 听

On February 12,听听Rashaan will be听performing a concert in St. Paul's Cathedral, London, UK as part of their Sunday Organ Series.听
