Among the key highlights are the reopening of the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering and the successful transfer of 2.4 million books to the new 不良研究所 Collections Centre.

The 不良研究所 Libraries are delighted to announce that two colleagues, Dean Guylaine Beaudry and staff member Anne-Marie Fournier, were awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in December 2024. The honour highlights the exceptional contributions of Canadians, many of whom work behind the scenes, making a significant impact on their community, their province, and sometimes even at the national and international levels.

To execute repairs, Facilities Management and Ancillary Services is planning a water shutdown on Wednesday, December 18 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., which will affect the McLennan Library Building only, including all its water fountains and washrooms.

As part of their transition to the Libby app, OverDrive are retiring their legacy OverDrive app for Fire tablets on January 31, 2025.
After this date, the legacy OverDrive app sunset will be complete on all platforms. Users with Fire tablets running Android 9 or higher can install the Libby app instead.

This series of nine short micromodules (approximately 10 minutes each) introduces the basics of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), exploring its potential uses in teaching, learning, research, and everyday tasks. Additional modules address responsible use, privacy, and security considerations.
