Canada's Public Policy Forum is bringing together leaders across sectors to share perspectives on the current and future role of cooperatives in Canada. Following up on the success of the first event in the discussion series, Innovation through Cooperation, the next session will take place in Montreal on February 27, 2013, featuring Monique F. Leroux, President and CEO of Desjardins Group, in conversation with the following panel of leaders from within and outside the cooperative movement:

Successfully implemented around the world, the cooperative business model is widely regarded as an innovative approach to delivering the triple bottom line. With over 9,000 cooperatives and credit unions across Canada, the cooperative business model plays an important role in our economic, social, and personal lives. This timely discussion series builds on the Forum's recent work in economic and social innovation by exploring the wide-ranging impact of cooperatives, emerging trends in the sector, and opportunities for collaboration.
