Math is abstract, and it can be complicated, but it is also central to our everyday lives. Without math, it is impossible to operate a cell phone, a satellite, or a subway network. And as a math tutor, Noberta Faustin seeks to demonstrate that centrality to students. A Desautels EMBA student and the Senior Director of Market Risk at PSP Investments, Faustin is a finalist for the Prix 脡toile Montante by the Association de femmes en finance au Quebec (AFFQ). The award recognizes a mid-career AFFQ member who has demonstrated leadership qualities, and whose career trajectory is ascendant.
