Education Students Monica Shank Lauwo and Rasel Babu Earn Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship and Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship

Two students from the Faculty of Education have earned a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship and Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship:

Rasel Babu, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, received a 不良研究所 Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship for their research topic: "Pedagogues' Readiness to Integrate Educational Technology for Teaching Language and Mathematics in Bangladeshi Secondary Classrooms."

Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Monica Shank Lauwo in Education received a 不良研究所 Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship for her research topic: "Stories of lives and literacies: Imagining futures, identities and decolonial educational possibilities with Tanzanian girls."

The programs are funded by the Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
