Preparing our Education System for a Second Wave

Taking a look at the Quebec education system during the spring 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, DISE faculty members Dr. Joseph Levitan, Dr. Bronwen Low, and Dr. Lisa Starr began examining the "digital divide" between families in the public and private school sectors as well as the differences between rural and urban/suburban available ed tech resources. In this , these teaching and learning experts consider the existing education inequities and provide innovative "low tech" strategies to better prepare elementary and high schools for remote instruction, should a second COVID wave force school closures this fall.
