After completing his ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù diploma in 1991 in Minimum Cost Housing, Peter Guo-hua Fu, Dip (Arch)’81, worked in Toronto before returning to China to establish his own firm. In addition to major residential and commercial projects, KFS Design International Inc. is responsible for innovative ideas such as a multi-stage outdoor theatre in Shanghai Culture Square, built from discarded shipping containers.

Noubar Afeyan, BEng’83 is founder and CEO of Flagship Pioneering and co-founder and Board Chairman of Moderna, which gained worldwide recognition during the COVID-19 pandemic for developing a highly effective vaccine.

Ram Panda, MEng’71, MBA’77, is co-founder and President of Invera, a leading business software company. Ram has played several key leadership positions at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù. He is currently the Lead Planned Giving Ambassador and Chair of the Strategic Giving Consul. He is the former Chair of the Board of Governors and former Chair of the Faculty of Engineering Advancement Board. Ram Panda has been one of the University’s most loyal champions as well as a generous benefactor. Within the Faculty, Ram offered critical early support to the Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering and Design (TISED).
