Description
Fellowship writing requires clearly and concisely communicating complex ideas within an alloted space, which is often challenging. This hands-on workshop will provide participants with tips and practice on how to revise text without losing the integrity of their ideas.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• Learn revision tips and strategies
• Practice revising sample texts for concision, clarity, and cohesion
• Apply one or two techniques to a short sample of their own work

To make the workshop as productive as possible, please identify 2-4 paragraphs of your fellowship application that you would like to improve. (A draft is fine).
Facilitator
Mary Towers (Ph.D., ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù) has taught literature, composition, and academic writing at the University of Windsor and ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù. She supports graduate students in developing their confidence and scholarly communication skills through her work with Graphos.
