Course Director, IPEA 500 & IPEA 501Amandeep Nandhra, erg is an Occupational Therapist by profession, working in Geriatrics in long-term care (CHSLD) as well as with adults in private practice. She obtained her Bachelors in Exercise Science – Clinical Exercise Physiology before pursuing her Masters in Occupational Therapy at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù. Since graduating in 2011, she has been actively involved with the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy and continues to be a mentor and a clinical supervisor for the Occupational Therapy program. Over the years, Amandeep has gained clinical experience in various fields and settings where collaborative and interprofessional practice were integral in providing holistic and patient/client-centered care as well as advocating for her patients needs. She joined the OIPE team in 2019 as the Course Director for IPEA 500 - Roles in Interprofessional Teams and IPEA 501 - Communication in Interprofessional Teams and was involved in updating these first two courses in the IPE curriculum. Amandeep has a passion for teaching and helping future practitioners build on their skills to help recognize, advocate, and care for their patients’ needs.
