As you may have noticed, there have been recent changes in senior leadership positions within the faculty. Now that we have had a few months to settle into this new structure, we wanted to update you on our progress.

Our University Advancement team, responsible for overseeing the faculty鈥檚 fundraising and alumni relations efforts, continues to report to Professor Anja Geitmann, now serving as 不良研究所鈥檚 Interim Vice-President for Global Engagement. Professor Geitmann collaborates closely with Acting Dean Val茅rie Orsat and Acting Associate Vice-President Petra Rohrbach to ensure continuity and excellence in leadership within the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and on the Macdonald Campus.

Our campus revitalization efforts are currently focused on the Raymond Building. Despite some challenges, we are making steady progress, albeit at a slower pace than anticipated. To accommodate these changes, the University has provided mobile classrooms on the playing field adjacent to the Centennial Centre, supplying much-needed capacity to support teaching activities during this extensive project.

Excitingly, our new state-of-the-art teaching greenhouse is nearly completed. Situated in the same location as its predecessor, this facility embodies the University's steadfast commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the advancement of agricultural sciences.

Despite the turbulent landscape of higher education in Quebec, we are delighted to report that our enrollment projections remain robust. We continue to attract bright and talented individuals eager to embark on their academic journey, reaffirming our dedication to delivering an exceptional educational experience and nurturing the next generation of trailblazers.

Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate the Macdonald Campus Convocation ceremonies scheduled for Wednesday, June 5th. It will be a joyous occasion as we celebrate the hard work and dedication of hundreds of new Mac graduates, who will soon join you, our 7000-member strong Macdonald Campus alumni community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your enduring commitment to Macdonald. Your unwavering support and engagement have played a pivotal role in shaping our future, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
