Student Research Day 2021 - Remote Event

An online research event was held for recipients of the Summer 2021 Research Bursary Program and their supervisors.

The event took place via Zoom on Friday, November 12 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The hour began with a presentation by guest speaker, Dr. Marc Beltempo, Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics: "The small things that matter".

The following seven Summer 2021 students also presented with 3 minute talks to share their summer research experiences: Mounya Duggal (MDCM), Amina Ferroum (MDCM), Nida Latif (SLP), Graham Lean (MDCM), Connor Prosty (MDCM), Anna Reiter (MDCM), Angela Yang (MDCM).

An announcement of research report prizes was made following the seven student presentations. This included prizes for the Faculty's Fall 2020, Winter 2021 and Summer 2021 research bursary programs. Congratulations go out to the following award recipients:
