"Women, Work and Song" at Marvin Duchow Library

An exciting new exhibit can be explored through the Marvin Duchow Library at 不良研究所听鈥 "Women, Work and Song in Nineteeth-Century France."

The exhibit explores the evolving role of women in the popular song industry of the era, and includes many pieces from the 19th-century French sheet music collection of the Library.听

Lara Ciekiewicz on CBC Music

Students, alumni and faculty in Chile with Global Leaders Program

Currently, Dr. Lisa Lorenzino, Professor of Music Education, is听in southern Chile with seven current and former Schulich School听of Music Students as part of the Youth Orchestra of the Americas听Global Leaders Program.听After three days of seminars and听meetings, the students have moved to a variety of locations听throughout southern Chile to keep students active in free听after-school music programs designed to empower youth.
