The 2021 Juno Award winners聽have been announced, and聽Schulich faculty, students, and alumni can be found on the list of nominees and winners.聽 From Vocal Jazz Album of the year to various Classical Albums of the Year, the Schulich community has appeared in a number of聽different award categories.

Jean-S茅bastien Vall茅e named new Artistic Director of Toronto Mendelssohn Choir

Chair of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir (TMC) Board of Directors, Denny Young,聽 announced that Jean-S茅bastien Vall茅e has been appointed as the TMC鈥檚 eighth Artistic Director

The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir聽is one of Canada鈥檚 oldest, largest, and best-known choral ensembles. Founded in 1894 by Augustus Vogt, the Choir presented its first concert in Massey Hall, as part of the hall鈥檚 inaugural season, on January 15, 1895.

Schulich's Opus Award Winners 2019-2020

Congratulations to all who received prizes at the 24th edition of the Conseil qu茅b茅cois de la musique鈥檚 Opus Awards! Many of the laureates were from the Schulich Community, and we couldn't be prouder. The ceremony celebrated the inspired resilience of the Quebec music scene during the 2019-2020 season, which included musical projects presented both before and since the pandemic began.
