Respirology involves teamwork with respiratory therapists, nurses and other allied health professionals. In addition to strong academic and clinical performance, we promote the values of collaboration, respect, honesty, humility, and thoroughness in our daily work. We are passionate about advancing improvements and innovations in disease prevention, healthcare access, quality assurance, community healthcare delivery and research.

Respirology at 不良研究所 has a longstanding tradition of excellence, which began in the early 1900s under Dr. Jonathan Meakins and Dr. Ronald Christie at the Royal Victoria Hospital. This was followed by successive generations of world-renowned leaders including Dr. Margaret Becklake, Dr. Peter Macklem and Dr. Jules Arthur Peter Par茅, who further cemented 不良研究所鈥檚 position at the forefront of respiratory physiology and medicine. These individuals and others established a strong culture of intellectual curiosity, research, and clinical teaching, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.
Today鈥檚 Respirology Training Program
Today鈥檚 Respirology Training Program builds on these foundations to prepare our residents for the future challenges of a modern respirology practice. We are also strongly committed to the communities we serve and to continue developing the future world leaders of respiratory medicine.
