Careers in Sociology

Sociologists pursue many different kinds of careers. They work as analysts in the private sector or in government.聽 They can join marketing firms and public health organizations.聽 They are often critical contributors to advocacy groups or non-profit organizations. 聽The research skills and understanding of social processes that sociology majors gain are an excellent foundation for professional degrees in fields such as law, medicine, business, and government.
