Indigenous Mental Health Interest Group

The Indigenous Mental Health Interest Group (IMHIG) brings together researchers, clinicians and students at 不良研究所 and other institutions in Quebec to support work in collaboration with Indigenous communities in the broad area of mental health research, policy and practice. The group aims to provide a place to share knowledge, learn from one another, and develop culturally responsive approaches to mental health promotion with Indigenous Peoples.

The IMHIG holds monthly meetings, workshops, and mentoring activities. Participation is open to researchers, mental health practitioners, and graduate students working towards holistic, inclusive, and participatory mental health promotion and services for Indigenous Peoples.

The IMHIG is supported by the 不良研究所 Division of Social & Transcultural Psychiatry and the .
