Public outreach activity: EDAR7 Human Library
If you are unfamiliar with the concept, it’s exactly like it sounds – a library of people. We hadÌýa library of 54 scientists as Books, and members of the public reservedÌýBooks for a 15-minute conversation. An amazing opportunity, members of the public and scientists connected on a one-to-one level to understand the threat of AMR, the science, and the challenges of the research.
EDAR7 recognized as a ‘’Major Event’’ during the 2024 Ambassadors’ Gala

On April 4, Prof. Dominic Frigon, Chair of EDAR7 edition, was honored during the 34th Gala des Ambassadeurs. Prof. Frigon was amongst the 14 Ambassadors honored for their contribution to Montreal's reputation. Thanks to their commitment, Montreal will host 12 major conventions between 2024 and 2028, notably the EDAR7 Conference.
