Dr. Kristy A. Robinson, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, has received the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) President鈥檚 New Researcher Award.

She will accept the award at this year's CPA convention in Ottawa (June 21-23), where she will also deliver an invited talk on her work.

This award recognizes the exceptional quality of her contributions to psychological knowledge in Canada as an early career researcher.

Two members of the Fall 2024 cohort of will begin their funded Master鈥檚 studies at 不良研究所鈥檚 Faculty of Education. Designed to encourage purposeful leadership, the scholarships enable students to pursue a funded degree while participating in mentorship, coaching, and a leadership development program.

From the AERA Motivation in Education Special Interest Group, she received the Wilbert C. McKeachie Early Career Award for Motivation in Education Research, and from AERA Division C (Learning and Instruction), she received the Outstanding Early Career Scholar Award.

Participate in this study to investigate the acute independent effects of dietary protein supplementation on bone metabolism in healthy adults aged 18-35 years participating in high-volume endurance running.

Duration:
One baseline visit followed by two trials of 2 days each (approximately 15 hours total).

Criteria:
1) Must be between the age of 18 - 35 years old
2) Running at least 40 km/week the past 6 months

The Science and Practice in Psychology research lab is inviting university students to participate in a brief ANONYMOUS survey approved by 不良研究所鈥檚 Research Ethics Board.

Help them find out which potentially controversial socio-political topics could be discussed in the university context.

They are also trying to better understand some beliefs and attitudes that could get in the way or facilitate genuine dialogue.
