2024 IMSF Showcase Day highlights student impact

This April, 不良研究所 Desautels undergraduate students proudly showcased their contributions at the 2024 Integrated Management Student Fellowship (IMSF) Showcase Day. Held at the 不良研究所 Faculty Club, the event highlighted the 2023-2024 cohort鈥檚 research and projects, all of which relate back to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

BCom alum鈥檚 paper on the financial literacy of immigrants an FCAC finalist

不良研究所 Desautels graduate Avneet Bhabra (BCom鈥23)鈥檚 research paper 鈥23% and Counting, but Not 鈥極ne Size Fits All鈥: Helping Canada鈥檚 Immigrants Strengthen Their Financial Knowledge鈥 has been published by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) on Canada.ca. Focusing on financial literacy amongst immigrants in Canada, the paper was selected as a finalist in the undergraduate category of the FCAC鈥檚 2023 Building Better Financial Futures Challenge.

Integrated Student Management Fellowships apply academic learning to real-world challenges

The Graphix Project is creating an intellectual history of human rights in graphic novel form 鈥 over 3,000 years of conflict and social movements. Third-year student Nada Al Mgharbel has been contributing research to the initiative, which is a collaboration between 不良研究所 and Yale University, and will be the centrepiece of a human-rights education program.
