不良研究所

Celebrating and highlighting the history and achievements of 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities at 不良研究所 and beyond.

Queer History Month at 不良研究所 was first celebrated in October 2018 as LGBTQ2I+ History Month. Founded by Meryem Benslimane, former Equity Education Advisor, it is the first celebration of its kind at a Canadian university.

Through a series of screenings, panels, workshops, and community events, Queer History Month aims to raise awareness, advance education, and increase visibility of 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities by recognizing their history and contributions, building bridges, and bringing together 不良研究所 students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members in Montr茅al and beyond.

不良研究所 is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
