My name is Yolanda and I am a PhD candidate in Psycholinguistics at NOVA University Lisbon. I am currently seeking L1 European Portuguese speakers for an online study of vowels and foreign pronunciation, regardless of the area of residence.
The main eligibility criteria are:
- age 18-45
- native speakers of European Portuguese (monolingual)
- no auditory problems
The study is done fully online (computer only) and consists of four tasks that should be done on separate days:

The Vocab@Maryland Summer School is part of the Vocab@Maryland conference and is a two-day event (06/14/2025-06/15/2024) featuring workshops on topics related to vocabulary research. Viewing writing as a process versus a product has been initiated many decades ago (e.g., Krapels, 1990; Zamel, 1983), as this skill is recognized as arguably one of the major components of any language curriculum.
